KomputerKids Computer Camp at ASU!

Get ready for a summer of discovery, innovation, and fun at the KomputerKids Computer Camp—a unique STEM program designed to introduce students from 3rd to 12th grade to the exciting world of computer science and problem-solving!

What Makes KomputerKids Different?

Unlike traditional engineering programs that often introduce ambiguity through assumptions and multiple possible solutions, KomputerKids takes a focused and structured approach to problem-solving. Students are taught to design solutions based solely on how the solution should function and appear. This clarity empowers students to think logically, precisely, and confidently—core skills needed in today’s technology-driven world.

Hands-On Learning for All Grade Levels

The camp is split into two tailored tracks:

  • Pre-BITS Camp: For students entering 3rd – 6th grade

  • BITS Camp: For students entering 7th – 9th grade

  • BYTES Camp: For students entering 10th - 12th grade

Each group will engage in age-appropriate lessons and projects that introduce the fundamentals of computer programming, logic, and critical thinking. No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to learn!

Program Schedule

  • Dates: Saturdays – June 28, July 5, 12, 19, and 26

  • Time: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM

  • Location: Lattie Coor Building, ASU Tempe Campus

This five-week program runs on consecutive Saturdays, giving students the consistency and structure to build and grow their skills over time without overwhelming their summer schedule.
